Candidate Privacy Notice
How Wisemium collects, uses, stores and retains information from job applicants.
Who collects the data
Wisemium collects and processes your application data. Contact: info@wisemium.com.
Why it is collected
To assess your suitability for the role you apply for, to run the recruitment process (review, assessment, interview, decision), and, if you are successful, to set up your team member profile and onboarding.
Types of information collected
Contact details, CV and portfolio files, your supporting statement and answers given in the application form, assessment submissions, interview scheduling responses, and internal recruitment notes and ratings added by Wisemium reviewers.
Who may access it
Only authorised Wisemium administrators involved in recruitment. Internal recruitment notes are never shared with candidates or with anyone outside the recruitment process.
How it is stored
Application data is stored in a private database with row-level security. Uploaded files are stored in private cloud storage and are never publicly accessible; they are only readable by authorised administrators.
How long it is retained
This is Wisemium's own documented retention period, not a claimed legal requirement: if your application is unsuccessful, your information is scheduled for deletion six months after the decision, unless you have separately agreed to remain in Wisemium's future talent pool.
If you are successful and join the team, the information relevant to your role is retained as part of your team member record for as long as that is needed.
Candidate access and deletion rights
You can ask what information Wisemium holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted at any time by contacting info@wisemium.com.
